Now here’s a soul sista new to us at B&S HQ and it’s always a treat to discover a new talent from across the pond. Atlanta's Cortney LaFloy has previously worked with the likes of US producers Timmy Regisford and DJ Pope on the soulful scene, and for her new single, "My Sister", she joins forces with one of the key Broken Beat pioneers, Daz-I-Kue (Bugz In The Attic/BB Boogie), who together create a sublime soulful jazzy affair.

The song celebrates female friendship and sisterhood, as LaFloy's soul-drenched tones wax lyrical on empathy, commonality and unity. There's also a cool broken beat vibe mix from one of Daz’s many monikers, Bruk, and a deep Afrohouse mix from fellow Atlantan, DJ Applejac.
