Ciyo Brown : Windrush Anchor Anthem

Virtuoso Jazz & Reggae guitarist Ciyo Brown teams up with The Queen Of Lovers Rock AKA Carroll Thompson, to deliver something a wee bit special and pertinent to the times.

‘Windrush Anchor Anthem’ is a - fitting and sunny tribute to the Caribbean generation who became a symbol of a wider mass-migration movement. The tune is a joyful and optimistic melody with intricate rhythms, and rich vocal harmonies that create a truly immersive listening experience representing the excitement of coming to a new country with all its hopes and expectations. You can hear the excitement in the music especially the rich mellifluous jazzy reggae tones of the guitar backed with a tough beat, strident horns and a touch of steel pan - it’s a joyous affair.

Needless to say Ciyo (pronounced like ‘Kayak’ but with an O) is an immensely talented musician who continues to captivate audiences with his exceptional skills and musical artistry. He’s on a roll and there’s no stopping him.Check the dub version too that features the crisp guitar of this individual, musical dynamic.Visit https://ciyobrownmusic.com/windrush-anchor-anthem-dub-lander/
