Jacob Collier (& Guests) : Where Ever I Go

Jacob Collier's highly anticipated single ‘Where Ever I Go’ from his forthcoming album, Djesse Vol. 4, features an impressive lineup of guest artists.

This latest release showcases the dynamic talents of American pop-soul group Lawrence and renowned vocalist Michael McDonald. This upbeat track effortlessly combines elements of pop, soul, funk, and R&B, highlighting Collier's signature sound and infectious energy. McDonald soars like an eagle over a lush track that definitely has the ‘Doobie Bounce’ and there’s a cheeky nod to ‘Best Of My Love’ by The Emotions. Collier is not even at the peak of his powers yet but he is making incredible inroads from an amazing set at this year’s Glastonbury and beyond.

Adding to the already remarkable list of collaborators on Collier's Djesse tetralogy, Djesse Vol. 4 will include contributions from an array of diverse talents. Joining forces with Michael McDonald, Lawrence, Remi Wolf, Brandi Carlile, John Mayer, and Lizzy McAlpine, these artists have made their mark on previous volumes. The list of past collaborators includes the likes of Ty Dolla $ign, T-Pain, Jessie Reyez, Daniel Caesar, Kimbra, Chris Thile, Rapsody, Tori Kelly, JoJo, Lianne La Havas, Oumou Sangaré, Laura Mvula, Steve Vai, Hamid El Kasri, and Take 6. Jacob is certainly climbing the ladder as things coalesce assuredly for this confident young artist.
