I̢۪ll take an educated guess that the average Cheryl Cole fan doesn̢۪t read Blues & Soul. If I was feeling particularly harsh I̢۪d go one step further and say that the average Cheryl Cole fan doesn̢۪t actually read anything other than Heat.
This aside, 3 Words contains eleven radio friendly inoffensive pop songs and although it packs no surprises, it will no doubt excite and please fans of Girls Aloud.
There are plenty of potential club favorites on it, which unfortunately come with a hefty amount of ‘rhyming dictionary’ lyricism. If fact other than love, the songs cover little other ground. But then again, who wants dance to metaphysical conundrums on a Saturday night in Croydon?
Any credit given must go entirely to the albums producers, which include Taio Cruz, will.i.am and Wayne Wilkins. They are the true workhorses behind this release. Had Cole̢۪s vocals been replaced by any of a hundred other female singers, the album would be practically the same.
